I have been job hunting. As the years passed, it is true that one’s age does have something to being successful in the job hunt. Before you hit your 35, it is so much faster to secure interviews and jobs than after you have hit 35.
Yes, there are campaigns by Tripatate standards. It is not compulsory for companies to adopt this standard. It is merely for potential people who have not worked in such a company to know that they have fair employment standards just by displaying and getting approved to be using the Tripatate’s logo.
There are SkillsFuture campaigns on mid career transitions. The claims that there are job placements by some training centres are also there. However, they do protect themselves by putting in a clause that the companies reserve the rights to choose the candidates. I have not been successful in any job placement after submitting my resume.
I do have skeptism if such career transitions are successful or not since I have only read 1 person who managed to do a career transition. However, how many have been successful with the career transitions? Are career transitions possible since the mentality that the person must be able to do the job should have done this a thousand times and more?
