As we grow older, we get more aches here and there. In addition, illnesses such as stroke, heart attacks or Alzheimer’s Disease strike, rendering us helpless. At this time, we need help. Many years ago, my paternal grandfather was down with Stage IV stomach cancer. He was brought home to be cared for by the family members who would take turns to take care of his basic needs such as bathing, eating and other business.
While a nursing home could have been better in providing the needs, but as an old and dying man, he preferred to be at home. It is often a great help if you can look at the options provided and Bettercaring is able to answer questions that we want answered such as the steps needed for caring a person at your own home as it’s your first time and financial portions that is often the major factor in caring.
