I used to play with Rubik's Cube when my maternal grandmother was looking after me. I remember the cube but never knew the name or even solved it. Turning and twisting the cube for days, it was really entertainment. Cheaper than playing with Gameboy, PSP or DS Lite.
Until now, I have yet to solve it. However, my youngest brother has found solutions to online an... Read More »

Christmas is coming and I am so excited! That is if I can ever clear the mountain of papers sitting on my desk. I managed to dump all the bills that have been paid for more than 10 months. The only thing that went through my mind as I tore them up was that I want a shredder... Read More »

JC has an iPhone. While it didn't appeal to me at first due to the exorbitant cost, I was rather impressed with its features after playing with it. There is a programme to check for the first and last bus, GPS, Safari for surfing the net, multi-touch, widgets, maps and many other functions.
Now that the price has dropped, I'm thinking if I should get it instead of So... Read More »

Anyone who buys 4D or Toto on a regular basis would queue up in front of the shops and eagerly purchase your numbers and pray that you'll win big bucks and stop working for good. In reality, you won't be really able to stop working for good due to the rising prices in absolutely everything. I too had high hopes in wanting to win big.
Queuing for bet is often a tediou... Read More »

There is still about 2 months to go before Halloween arrives. While it's not that popular to dress up as ghouls and witches here, it's a tradition elsewhere like America. For those who have been Naruto fans, you know what ninjas are. They throw sharukens, darts and channel chakra to walk up trees and over water.
While not many shops sell costumes to dress up as ninj... Read More »

I walked around the booths in Suntec on a weekday. It was still very crowded. I guess a number of people have taken leave to get the bargains on the 1st day. I was really tempted on buying the Lenovo Y300 for $1,999. It's a 13.3" laptop with 1GB of RAM and 120GB of hard disk space. So cool! It's a major difference from my current laptop of 40GB of hard disk space and ... Read More »

The 1st 3 days of Chinese New Year is nearly over. I have shamelessly happily collected angbaos from almost every married auntie and uncle. This year, I get more wishes to get married soon. Last year, there wasn't much. ARGH! I'm old and I'm showing my wrinkles now?! Strangely, these wishes came from DD's side.
I have eaten 3 days of Yu Sheng. Traditionally... Read More »

In my family, I'm the æ‘‡é’±æ ‘. I'm usually paying for some things such as the XBox games (3 for $99), Sony Ericsson K800i, newspaper subscription, clothes, dinner at restaurant, etc. Going by the looks of it, I sound rich. However, I am not. If I were, I wouldn't have hesitated at buying the car lor.
My lil brother is going for his shoe shopping and my mum said, "æ... Read More »

A guy was caught using his neighbour's wireless network. His crime is being known as wardriving. This has been in existence since WiFis were introduced. At that time, it was expensive to buy a wireless router and a wireless LAN card. Nowadays, with more people going broadband, it's cheaper than in the past.
Log on to the wireless network and download the contents tha... Read More »
