A Mind of My Own

I’ve been tagged. Thanks to FoxTwo. It’s Valentine’s Day and he feels that I should have the misery of thinking up 7 weird things about me. I can’t keep count of the times I have to do a tag or meme. Like the Christmas tag, Million dollars, Unimportant stuff (someone promised but broke the promise, you know who) and many more. Now, the rules.

1. I prefer to stay at home despite my horoscope analysis claims.
2. I have way too many bags but under-utilised.

I guess it’s time to start rounding up the posts for Blog Action Day. While some countries may still be 15 Oct, I’m going to link to those who have done their posts on how to be more environmental friendly.

Here, Littler Inch has done the round ups for food and baby related posts. Even diapers are included. I know my mother recycles diapers in her own way in the past. I think Bhalababy is using the same method.

Lifehacker shows us how to live our lives greener, includes baby diapers too. Maybe I should consider using Latte’s poop as fertiliser for the plants. Pick The Brain has two simple rules which I’m sure we would be able to achieve once we put our minds to it.

A video at Environmental Nightmares shows how protecting the environment protects our children. More information on nuclear related information can be found there too.

Cash Money Life provides tips on green energy for home use. I like the idea of using solar panels. I just don’t understand why they aren’t used here where the sun is mostly sunny all year round.

Finally, since I can’t possibly link to all 16,000+ blogs as of today, I’ll end with asking “What can you do to help?“

Been feeling strange after I reached the office. Not sure why but I get this sort of feeling out of body whenever I feel that I haven’t done anything worth shouting about. Such as earning more than USD100 in a month from Adsense, earn more than SGD50 in a month from Advertlets, etc. No, this is wrong, those are not my accomplishments alone, my dear readers have been doing me this favour.

My accomplishments should be getting that degree that I’ve been slogging for 4 years, being able to retire rich by age 35, publish a few best sellers, be healthy and travel to any country with DD. Another accomplishment would be able to train Latte into doing all sorts of tricks. That, I shall leave it because Latte, no matter how clever that lil critter is, will never listen to me. Guinea pigs work for food.

Wonder if this odd feeling will last through today. I wish to work 4 days a week.

It’s always a juggle trying to find a date and time slot that is suitable for everyone to meet up. This group is a trying one because I have to go through countless number of SMS and calls just to get a date. Emails don’t get any response. How many are we trying to get a dinner date for? Four. You read right, 4.

The latest attempts include me forgetting to start the ball rolling because of my involvement with Latte and his cage. He may be getting a girlfriend once I get him neutered. Ouch. Other involvements such as the Bird Park visit and my camera’s death also came into play.

Anyway, back to my attempts at organising the simple dinner. I asked LP and gave a series of dates but the reply was, “That day cannot”. So, which day can? An answer finally came. I asked AY for the same date. The reply was positive. All these happened on MSN taking about 2 hours, including toilet breaks and returning the passes for the Zoo and Bird Park. Next, SH messaged me and said that particular day that I had chosen was not a good day. I saw the message too late.

I had to change dates. I have less weekday evenings since my stint in tuition. So, armed with these limitations, I re-checked my schedule to see which dates would be ok. Tentatively, I’ve finally settled on a date that is 2 weeks away from now. Four schedules and the nearest date is that date. I only hope SH is free on that day.
