I Rock! • 08.06.07
Well, this is way overdue but heck, a meme has to be done. Modobs has given me the label of Rockin’ Girl Blogger. I’m so honoured. ![]()

Now, can anyone tell me how much I rock ya?
Now, the rule states that I have to pass on this to 5 other female bloggers and they have to nominate 5 others and so on. Heck, I’ll just pass this hot potato to the following.
Ok, there are two whom I often read and I think you girls rock. The rest hor, I don’t even know if you still reading my blog or not but do this, can? Pretty please.

I blog, a lot. I started way back in 2005 using Friendster and migrated to Wordpress. I must say I’ve build up a lot posts and links to other posts and blogs. In the process, I’ve found Cute Overload, Daily Kitten and The Daily Puppy.
I’ve also found blogs that post only videos, photos, and other focused niches. Each has its own flavour. There are also blogs that simply have comments for every post. There are also blogs that give out tips on how to attract more readers, commentors, etc. Below is the list of blogs that dish out their tips.
5. Can I Make Big Money Online
6. Weblogs on Adding Search Engines
8. Chubby Hubby
And many more here, here, and here.
Next question, is how to stand out. Frankly speaking, standing out in the Internet world is like looking for a needle in the haystack. What some would think is that, blogging? I don’t write very well, how to blog? Actually, you don’t have to be a writer in order to blog. Your blog is something about you and your voice, opinions and many other things. That’s why the tag lines after the title you may see some phrases that mean that they are voicing their own viewpoints and opinions, which is true.
If you don’t write a lot, post photos, comics like Bounce Back to Life, links to interesting stuff like Kisumi, podcast like Mr Brown, etc. Gosh, so many ways to make yourself known in the Internet world. The next thing I would have to worry is being stalked. ![]()
I think there’s some tips on how to prevent being stalked. Maybe Mr Angry has the right idea here, he is determined not to jeopardise his anonymity.

I’ve been sending out emails on a gathering. It’s just a dinner for us secondary school friends and to meet each other’s partner if any. I’ve cancelled it at least twice for Oct. I think this is the 3rd time I’m trying to have it. It’s so tiring and frustrating to get the girls to give a reply. I’ve always tried to send out a month before that. Everyone’s schedule is different, so the early kiasu notice has to be given.
I’ve received a reply for the date so far. The other organiser has already book the slot for this gathering. I’ve even sent out the deadline to reply and they usually give me the last minute, “Oops sorry, I can’t make it. Something on.” ![]()
Life can be so difficult, right? Keeping silence, I’m not sure if they can or they can’t make it. A short reply would tell me that you’re reading the email. No reply means you’re not around. You girls are still alive, aren’t ya?
Knowing Myself Better • 10.08.06
I must say, the following may be rather true. Wouldn’t have found it if not for my friend. The Personality Quiz Link.
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren’t interested in wasting time with people you don’t really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Mr Brown’s column in Today has been suspended because he was just voicing out 小人物的心声, rising transport fares and no wage increase in sight. Well, the latter is just my opinion. There are some things that need to be decreased but no movement because they’re lucrative in a way. How sad.
Money is hard to earn. It’s so much easier to just send it all. Most of our pay are monthly, some bi-monthly. Well, a short movie done by other bloggers based on this current topic has been made.
There’re a lot of things that we have to be careful about and blogging is still in the limelight. Maybe one day, the others can just accept our postings as our opinions and not as a way to make trouble. Although some are just out to make trouble but discretion must be exercised. Just as watching “A Light Affair”, there is this fine warning on the corner of the screen saying “Viewers discretion”.
