After watching Fool’s Gold, Jumper was up next. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that exciting. The scenes were Blair-witch like and the characters weren’t developed to their potential. There wasn’t any motives for the so-called good guys and bad guys.
David Rice was made to be some Casanova who was into “banking” (as in robbing banks) and traveling around the world collecting surfboards, exercise machines and other various objects that just decorated his flat.
Roland was made out to be some heartless Jumper killer. This is the part where I don’t understand why he can’t stand anyone who can just jump around. No flashbacks to show why he hates them. Just kill and saying they will all turn bad one day.
After watching Fool’s Gold, I wanted to visit the places where they have clear blue sea. And find a few treasures to auction off. With the sun pelting down and getting a tan, watching babes and hunks by the beach playing beach volleyball and the clear blue sea, it is heaven.
This movies stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson as a couple who renew their love for each other despite a divorce to find the Queen’s Dowry. Ah, the adventures begin. I find that Benjamin gets hit on the head almost every time he attempted to appease Big Bunny. Ouch. The most painful part I guess must be when his ex-wife knocked him out with an old man’s cane. That must have hurt a lot.
While some found this movie average, I found it quite funny. Since I have no previous movie with the leads in another movie, a comparison would be unfair. I went because DD passed to me a pair of free tickets he had won in a contest from The New Paper. The goodies were the same except with a pair of calendars.
This time, I don’t know how long we spent watching the ads. Managed to find someone who was available to watch it with me. Meet my new lover, HF. She enjoyed it too. Thanks, DD.
The year initially started off with the demise of MC King. Just 3 weeks later, sexy photos of Edison Chen, Cecilia Cheung, Bobo Chan (who the heck is she?) and Gillian Chung were plastered all over the net. The photos (NSFW) were initially suspected to be photoshopped.
However, online CSI-tizens dissected the images and compared them with fully clothed celeb photos and compared them with the nude photos of Cecilia and confirmed them to be authentic. Apparently, Vincy Yeung, the doted niece of Albert Yeung has been embroiled in the scandal too. There are various camps on his actions and the actions. I don’t care whether they were drunk, drugged or not. Perhaps, the directors or producers could have given them some saucy roles so that they didn’t have to role play with Edison and his babes.
He has a supportive fan too and it’s none other than Steven Lim. I couldn’t bear to listen to the video because it was too whiny.

While the mastermind has gone to United States to get away from the heat, Gillian had come out to apologise after his apology. When the news arrived, there were claims that Gillian attempted suicide, Cecilia’s marriage was on the rocks and now, it seems that Edison had attempted suicide due to the pressure.
With Hong Kong policearrested a number of ‘malicious’ uploaders, the public have cried foul due to the heavy-handed way. One particular question was raised and unanswered was the age of Vincy when her photos in the shower. It seems that age 16 is the legal age of consent and if the photos were taken when she was before 16, Edison Chen is in further trouble. His career is definitely on the rocks.

I have been touched by my mother. There was once I was limping due to my carelessness in hitting my foot against the table. That was because I thought my leg was way stronger than the leg of the table. Not. She woke up in the middle of the night and use ointment vigourously on my injured foot. Ouch. However, can you imagine someone waking up in the middle of the night and helping you to lessen the pain in your foot?
There were other times like just making porridge because of my wisdom tooth surgery. Mention something that I had problem looking for and the next few days, I will find that item on my desk. Touching, right?
Not to forget the times DD looked for ways to watch movies at cheaper rates with me. Save money, important too, ok? And the time DD offered to send me home after watching Alien vs Predator 2. BTW, the movie was not that worth the money either. I wished we had won the tickets instead. Oh well, it’s over.

I’ve always secretly dreamed of marrying someone who has a huge house like a bungalow, with 2 maids, a golden retriever and a private swimming pool. Oh no, now it’s no longer a secret.
Somehow the idea of living in the era where martial arts are dominant has always fascinated me. I like the idea of flying from tree to tree with ease. Does make it a whole lot cheaper if I can fly to work instead of depending on the public transport with prices that are exorbitant and unreliable at times.
I have a driving license but I prefer DD to lovingly drive me around.
I like to do many things but lack the maintenance drive for them. Things get started by be enthusiastically but the tying up of loose ends are by others. Oh dear.
I prefer to stay at home and devour books. I used to be able to do that because I didn’t have to worry about bringing home the bacon. Now I have to do the latter. Sad. So very sad.
I’m still proud of that horse picture I drew many years ago. It was displayed on the art board of the day!

This month, I’ve watched more movies with DD than any other months. I’ve watched The Heartbreak Kid, 30 Days of Night, Alvin and The Chipmunks and National Treasure 2 - Book of Secrets. All of these within 2 weeks. Whew. With all these shows being watched in the evenings, I’m falling sick. Oh and DK, your dear is sweet. Maybe I should have exposed you
Back from Suntec City. Watched The Golden Compass with DD. Considering the low hype about it, I guess it was worth watching on a weekday. The family crowd as usual with one aunty stepping on my left foot. Yes, that poor left foot that got the big toe nail lost and the little toe nail lost too.
DD was falling asleep at the cinema because there was so little action in the movie. I love the War Bear. He may be scarred faced but he sure is cute and manly. I wonder how on earth can he be both manly and cute at the same time. That golden compass is something else too. I wonder if I can get a working replica. Ok, maybe the replica can’t do the same thing as in the movie but it would be nice to have one that moves
Oh, it’s a chronology. Aye, I’ll be having white hairs when the subsequent movies come out.
After an apparent insult that the 7 young artistes from J Team Studios that they were comparable to fake goods, Paul Chan claimed that it was just a joke. Well, I think it was a joke that was carried too far. By calling them fake, it meant that J Team Studios did a lousy selection of girls that are meant to be propelled to stardom.
