Not everyone has credit cards. While it may not be good not to have, credit cards do help us during certain time such as paying for expensive weddings (you get more KrisFlyer Miles this way and still get that honeymoon you want) or treating every colleague because you are promoted or leaving. That is why some people have credit cards, to help them ear... Read More »

You can say that again. Couples planning to tie the knots are having trouble trying to book their preferred hotels due to the steep and rising prices of the banquet tables. Even the red packets (ang baos) have to be bigger too. That way, the couple will not be able to cover their wedding celebrations, let alone honeymoon.
The price list for 2007 is available and I ca... Read More »

Ventis and Wises 2000 study, "Choice, Chance and Wealth Dispersion at Retirement," found that people in the lowest income groups were able to save more than some of their middle-income peers -- by about $100,000. This is because they spend less than they are able to earn.
Professor Tahira Hira has 25 years of studying how and why people spend money, including why som... Read More »

This makes me wonder, if my insurance refused to cover such issues and I have to fork out so much money, why on ... Read More »

Sometimes, I wonder if females, the so-called weaker sex, earn more or males earn more. A quick search shows that men earn more than women. Buying a new flat or home means you need to purchase the basic items such as basins, sinks, lights, furniture and floor tiles. A home is meant to be livable. Cheap lights are not that difficult to find once you know where to look for. Besides the bedroom, bathrooms are our next commonly used place in the home.

6 unimportant things about me. Gee, I wonder if there's anything so unimportant that anyone would truly want to know about me. :D Modobs, for you.
I've always secretly dreamed of marrying someone who has a huge house like a bungalow, with 2 maids, a golden retriever and a private swimming pool. Oh no, now it's no longer a secret.

I have encountered a speed bump. Was informed by my superior that I may not have the chance to transfer to the other department as I didn't have the paper qualifications. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone in the department that I wished to join. Would have made the transition a lot easier. I'll be working towards it still. I just have to write a few samples and submi... Read More »
