I met up with a my lover friend last night. Being girls, WL and I decided to browse through the shop, Bega. I knew the service standard there. It was the usual “Hi, this top nice, try?” or the “These have different colours, try?”. That I could still tolerate if it were once or twice but not every time we turned to another rack and that was more than 6 times!
OMG! Which part of “Thanks, we’re just looking.” and “No thanks, we’re looking around.” did she not understand? Was our Mandarin not good enough or was the part “just looking around” not in her dictionary?
And, no, I absolutely hate the top that you brought out for me to try. It looks absolutely hideous. Another case of too aggressive. Like the scary lady/aunty who refused to let go of my arm in Bali.
We left the shop after the nth time.
