Today is the last morning I’m waking up at home. Tomorrow, I will be waking up in Bali Hard Rock Hotel. I’m using 2 hotels for this trip. On the 4th Oct, I’ll be in Ritz Carlton Hotel, courtesy of the Marriott Vacation Club. No, wait, that’s not right. I paid a subsidized amount for the 2 nights. Hopefully, I’ll be able to take lots of photographs without using up 2GB of my SD card since I didn’t buy a larger memory. The last time I did buy a new CF card…

The sky looks overcast right now. I think it’s going to rain later. I hope it doesn’t when I’m trying to get to the airport later. I doubt that I’ll be online from tonight onwards. Oh dear, I haven’t packed finished! Time to complete the packing.

I think going for a break at this time is a good time for me. I need a short break at some place relaxing. :)

Your Ritz Carlton is the one at Jimbaran? That’s awesome! From here you can make a trip to the cliffs at Uluwatu temple to view the spectacular sunset and fire dance, and then adjourn to a romantic (but overpriced) candlelight seafood dinner with your DD at Jimbaran beach. You can also try the fantastic rastafel buffer at the nearby Bumbu Bali restaurant.

Shopping at Kuta (where your Hard Rock Hotel is) is so much fun. From here you can easily make day trips to Ubud (for spa in the day and dance performance at night), Tanah Lot (another spectacular sunset) and Lake Bratan (cool mountain weather and strawberries!).

Yes, the one at Jimbaran. Oh boy, is it overpriced. More coming up in my post(s).
