Maybe true but I’ve read those whose posts just contain 1 sentence. It’s short.

Girls readily post comments on other girls’ blogs; nobody comments on boys’ blogs

Not really, I don’t get any comments much from my girl friends here. So, is mine a boy’s blog?

Everyone has, ok. It’s just more prominent on girls.

Ladies, ever asked yourself what men really want in a wife? Do they want a wife who is able to cook, clean the house, look after the kids, pay the household bills in equal amount, and still satisfy the husbands’ needs?

What do these men take us for? How can they say we’re demanding and yet, they still demand all those emotional and monetary needs? Outrageous! There’s only 24 hours in a day. Minus the 8 hours at work, you have 16 hours. Minus the 7 hours of sleep, you have 9 hours left. Minus the 4 hours of cleaning the house, you have 5 hours left. Minus the 2 hours of coaxing the kids to sleep, you have 3 hours left. So, does that mean the husband wants to be satisfied?

If men can say that they’re tired after a hard day’s work, don’t tell me women have super human strength like the Duracell bunny. Everyone is tired after working 8 hours. Even those on shift are tired after 12 hours of work.

Unless the man is rich like Bill Gates, as a woman, I won’t mind not working and do all those ancient activities like cleaning the house, washing the clothes, cooking and sewing. However, life like that would be boring. I would want to take up lessons such as a third language and travelling too.

So, men, what do you really look for in a wife?

In a few days, the once a year 10 million dollars Toto Draw is going to be held. Everyone is queuing to win that 10 million. Masters have been consulted and it’s estimated that 6 - 7 winners will be part of the 10 million share.

I was wondering if there would be only one winner for that lion share. What if I won and how would I utilise it? I would spend it on my lasik, of course. Let’s see, I shall list below what I’m planning to do if I were to win it.

1. Lasik operation (Estimate 4k)
2. Take the whole family to Hawaii to visit my aunt (She dotes on me lei! Estimate 15k for 6 return tickets)
3. Put 100k into a fixed deposit account that earns the most interest rate (Best to take precautions)
4. Donate 100k to Cats Welfare, SPCA and Rainbow Charity
5. Buy a condo with a plot of land for my parents (Estimate 120k)
6. Buy another condo to rent out (Estimate 120k)
7. Buy overseas bungalow as my holiday retreat (Estimate 500k)

Notice that I didn’t buy car. That’s because I won’t be working, I’d be waiting for the rental rates to come in and collect my interest. A car would undermine my savings plan.

I guess that would utilise all the money. What would your utilisation be?

I’ve created a Flickr account just so that I could comment for one of my friends’ photos. However, whenever I tried to send email, I kept getting bounced email:

GAH! Curse all spammers who used simple and innocent text emails. I just want to let my friend know that I’ve done some commenting on the photos and I’ve added as a contact. Well, you know who you are so, just to let you know, the screen name is the same as my email that I send from.

I don’t know why I’m even putting this information here but I can’t help but get tickled by how this comic depicts how fellatio was discovered and enjoyed by men. Studies show that by performing it, women have reduced cancer by a certain percentage. I’m sure I don’t have to explain what fellatio is in layman terms, do I?

I think the article was written by someone who loves fellatio on a regular basis hence, the CNN style web page. It’s an urban legend.

I’m hooked on drama. I guess this classify as idol drama (偶像剧). I feel young again. Of course I like the male lead, I think there are 2 of them; Wu Zun and Jiro Wang. Guess who? Of course the one who is more swoon-worthy la. Ella of S.H.E. is the female lead.

The drama is called Hana Kimi (花样少年少女) or For You in Full Bloom. It’s being shown in Taiwan and Channel U. Taiwan has shown up to the most exciting part; more and more people have discovered Ruixi’s (瑞希) real identity. I can’t wait for the next installment! On YouTube lor. Too many ads on Channel U liao.

With it being adapted from the comic book of the same name, there were scenes of goosebumps with the characters exaggerating their thoughts. Brr. JJ Lin acted as Ruixi’s protective brother; it was rather comical when he was touring the school on his own. I love the way Dr. Mei acted by Ryan Tang who loved to trick those who don’t know his preferences.

The 1st 3 days of Chinese New Year is nearly over. I have shamelessly happily collected angbaos from almost every married auntie and uncle. This year, I get more wishes to get married soon. Last year, there wasn’t much. ARGH! I’m old and I’m showing my wrinkles now?! Strangely, these wishes came from DD’s side.
I have eaten 3 days of Yu Sheng. Traditionally, it’s eaten on the 7th day of the New Year. With the hard times in the past years, it’s eaten on any day, some even ate it a few days before the New Year because of schedules. I heard from one of my aunt that there were cases of tossing the Yu Sheng not only all over the table but on the face as well.
To think on the hands is already sticky but on the face? Gosh. I didn’t take any photos this year. Maybe because there are no new members to the family and it doesn’t matter any more. Or maybe it’s the same people I’ve been putting up everytime and it does get boring after a while. I should explore other places to take photos to put up. I wonder if it’s a good time to visit Sentosa’s flowers exhibition. It’s ending on 25th Feb. A few days left.

Traditions are still observed such as eating soup dumplings on the 1st day, rice in the morning on the 2nd day, no clipping of nails on th 1st 2 days, staying up late on the eve, etc. I wonder if I will be able to keep them as time goes by.

I feel so ashamed after reading this! I haven’t been reading for a long time! The most recent book is Hallowed Bones by Carolyn Haines. I still have to return it before the date due. I miss reading. Library has books but there were times I hate it when there are missing pages. The best worst part about those missing pages were that those were the most exciting and crucial to the next event.

Books are my friends. I can devour one 300-page in 2 hours I can go on diet when reading. The kind where I don’t eat and drink for the whole day with my mom hollering at me to bathe, eat and drink.
Time to hit the books!

We live in the world of opportunities. Mahjong is a game of oppotunites. Big 2 (Chor Daidee) is a game of opportunities. After playing such games for quite some time, I begin to realise that I’ve missed a few opportunities. I don’t wish to miss them again. I want to do something for myself. To take this opportunity to do something that has been on my mind for a long time.

I will do it. It’s now or never. Time for me to turn on my creative juices and churn them out for you to read.

It rained this morning. It was sunny in the afternoon and it rained again. I wonder if the weather god is having fun. Just look at the weather! Rain, sun, rain and now sun again! It must be fun to pour the buckets on unsuspecting pedestrians. I just hope that the weather would be sunny. There’s a down side though, when it’s too hot, we perspire.

The make-up is ruined. RUINED! I don’t want my face foundation to melt! I don’t want to.. Oops, I don’t use mascara. But I still don’t want my make-up to be ruined! I’m getting hysterical here. When I’m still at home on Chinese New Year’s Eve awaiting the SMS from my friends wishing me good health and prosperity. Thank you my friends. It’s Saturday and I don’t feel holiday-ish. Maybe due to the dreaded questions that are unavoidable unless I’m super rich to fly overseas during this period.

I tend to gain weight during this period too. All I ever hear is, “Eat! Eat more! You too thin!” All in the same breath. Gosh. Short sentences help, you see. You get the strength to say the same thing using 3 words, “eat”, “more”, “thin”. I hear these words every year. I want to be super thin because I don’t want to fret about my clothes strangling me. Crazy, right?

Naw, I’m actually born this thin. So, accept it.
