Scholaship for NTU
Starting next year, NTU students would be able to use scholarships to study overseas for a double degree. It will take about 3.5 years. Interestingly, NUS has not announced such an option or I may have missed the news. However, this doesn’t affect me in anyway but it may impact the other universities as students may want the option of having a double degree. NTU may attract more students in this way.
This piece of news came about 2 weeks after the hoo-ha on NUS donation woes. I mentioned that one student had felt it was is too long to complete a double degree in Singapore than in Australia or United States. Seems like NTU is countering it.
