It’s Deepavali today. I had a last minute call from my friend who informed me that we’re invited to our secondary school classmate’s house. We try to visit her during this time of Deepavali every year, if she calls us. She’s doing henna designs part time and often offers to do it for us, for free
For the past few years, I didn’t let her do it for me because I was not able to wait for the henna to dry. This year, it’s a rare chance for me. I took a long time in deciding which design. Initially, I had wanted something like a band to be put on my upper arm. After flipping through a few more designs, I finally settle on the one below.

I find them quite nice even if it’s not a mirror image of each other. This design showed only one hand. The original design had a sunflower in the middle where the vines curve. I didn’t like it and told my friend to just draw the vines. I like the end result. However, the guys have nothing to say about the designs. My friend’s husband didn’t comment on it.
My DD on the other hand, said it wasn’t nice. I spent 30 minutes trying to find a design which I would really like and the feedback was it wasn’t nice
I want to buy the Perlini Silver’s bracelet but it costs $79!
Don’t know if they’d still sell it during my birthday month where I can get 50% discount
